Omega-3 May Reduce High Blood Pressure

RESTON, Va.--Researchers found that omega-3 fatty acids may reduce high blood pressure.Presented at an American Heart Association meeting in early June, a review of currentstudies concurred that omega-3 supplementation (on average, three grams per day) may lowerblood pressure. Study participants were fed meals consisting of 50 grams of fat per day,derived from olive oil, canola oil and salmon.
