ONC Supplies 100 Billion Servings of MEG-3®

DARTMOUTH, Nova ScotiaOcean Nutrition Canada Ltd. (ONC), reported it has supplied more than 100 billion servings of MEG-3® brand omega-3 eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA)/docosahexaenoic acid (DHA)  ingredients globally, or put another way, 15 servings for every person on the planet. Daily, more than 21 million servings of MEG-3® are consumed across the world, according to the company. 

ONC will be celebrating this milestone during the Vitafoods tradeshow in Geneva from May 10 to 12 at stand #618.

Jon Getzinger, chief sales and marketing officer stated, "This is a huge milestone for ONC and the MEG-3® brand. This achievement affirms our leadership position in the omega-3 category and speaks volumes about the quality and purity of MEG-3® ingredients." Getzinger continued, "Consumers are learning about the importance of omega-3 EPA/DHA and know that when they pick up a product with MEG-3® on it, they can trust the source."

ONC is a privately held company, whose major shareholder is Clearwater Fine Foods Inc., a diversified holding/investment company whose significant holdings include a controlling interest in Clearwater Seafood's Limited Partnership.
