COSHOCTON, OhioOrganic Technologies introduced its line of AlaskOmega omega-3 nutritional supplement ingredients. The ingredients hail from wild-caught fish in Alaska and are then refined in Ohio. The AlaskOmega line of concentrated ethyl ester (up to 85-percent omega-3s) and reconstituted triglyceride (rTG) products are produced from the liver and viscera oils of wild-caught Bering Sea/Aleutian Islands and Gulf of Alaska Pollock, a member of the cod family. The oils are manufactured using high-quality standards, exceeding both the Global Organization for EPA and DHA Omega-3s (GOED) and the Council for Responsible Nutrition (CRN) monographs. AlaskOmega concentrates are available in bulk 190 kg drums or 900 kg totes. In addition, the company achieved its Marine Stewardship Council (MSC) Chain of Custody certification in order to responsibly source sustainable wild-caught fish byproducts.
