AIBMR Celebrates 30th Anniversary

PUYALLUP, Wash.—AIBMR Life Sciences Inc. is celebrating its 30th anniversary in the industry. The firm offers an array of scientific research and regulatory services, including clinical trial design, toxicology testing, formulation, claim substantiation, label review, GRAS (generally recognized as safe) affirmation, and New Dietary Ingredient (NDI) notifications.

The company recently added cGMP (good manufacturing practice) compliance consulting to its offerings, and can help companies develop a plan for complying with the final GMP rule. “Complying with the cGMP rule starts at the first stage of product development and continues past customer purchase and consumption,” said Alexander Schauss, Ph.D., CEO, AIBMR. He added the rule emphasizes a basic tenet that quality-minded companies have always known: quality must be built into the production process and cannot simply be “tested in” at the end. “The new rule codifies this basic principle into law as it applies to dietary supplements,” he said.
