Botanical Labs Obtains QAI Organic Certification
FERNDALE, Wash.BotanicalLaboratories Inc. (BLI) announced it has obtained organic certification fromQuality Assurance International (QAI). The certification will allow BLI, amanufacturer of homeopathic, herbal and other dietary supplements, to now offercertified organic products. BLI (www.botlab.com) now will feature the QAI symbolon all organic products.
In addition to our GMP [good manufacturing practice] andNSF certification, adding organic certification to our credentials furtheremphasizes our ongoing commitment to manufacturing excellence, said JimCoyne, BLIs president and chief executive officer.
Organics continue to be a rapidly growing category. BLIbrands will be well positioned to offer consumers organic options that theycontinue to seek.
BLI obtained the GMP label for all its products in September2003 and obtained an NSF listing in January 2004.
