Caron ~ Gelf Cell Culture Shelving and Incubation Products

MARIETTA, OhioCaron Products & Services debuted its Gelf product line for culture shelving and incubation products. Using a patent-pending thermal active gel insulation technology and copper's antimicrobial properties, the products eliminate contamination and maintain reliable cell temperature.

The product line includes Gelf Pod, Gelf Pod Incubator and Gelf Shelf. While the Pod increases incubator temperature stability, the Pod Incubator offers temporary storage for a large volume of temperature-sensitive cell cultures. The Shelf adds an extra layer of thermal protection, fitting into benchtop incubators.

These products are available in several formats to maintain optimal cell growth conditions during normal interruptions, such as door openings, feeding and harvesting, and abnormal interruptions, such as in the event of a power failure," said Bob Dotterer, director of engineering.
