Carotech Facility GMP Certified

EDISON, N.J.Carotech Inc.'s Malaysia production facility recently completed FDA inspection for GMP (good manufacturing practice) compliance. Carotech is a GMP-certified full spectrum palm tocotrienol producer. The production facility has been certified current cGM) by the Malaysian Pharmaceutical Control Bureau since 2007. The most recent FDA inspection fell under the Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) Title 21, Part 111 cGMP in Manufacturing, Packaging, Labeling or Holding Operations for Dietary Supplement.

Carotech's products include tocotrienol complex ingredients Tocomin and Tocomin SupraBio, in addition to the natural carotene complex Caromin. In October, researchers at Ohio State University announced a new clinical trial evaluating Carotech's palm tocotrienol complex's role in skin biopsy wound healing.
