AUSTIN—Nutritional supplement ingredient compound company Chemi Nutra moved its North American office and warehouse from White Bear Lake, Minnesota to Austin, Texas.

“We have been looking the past few years to move to a location where we can better serve our customers, and where we can gain logistics advantages related to inbound goods from our manufacturing plants located in Italy and Brazil. And Texas was an easy choice for our relocation, because of their historically strong, pro-business attitude," said Scott Hagerman, president of Chemi Nutra.

Chemi Nutra is the U.S. business unit of parent company Chemi S.p.A., a privately held pharmaceutical and nutraceutical company based in Milan, Italy. Chemi, with GMP (good manufacturing practice)) -certified manufacturing facilities in Italy and Brazil, is best known in the U.S. nutritional arena for its introduction of phosphatidylserine (PS), a dietary supplement that has been granted two qualified health claims by FDA, and is used to enhance learning, memory and concentration, exercise performance and youthful wellbeing, and to reduce stress.
