OPA LOCKA, Fla.CombiScale introduced its PrimoWeigher® combination scales, ideal for use in food-related and pharmaceutical applications. The scales are open-frame and designed to meet the needs of operators, management and stakeholders. For operators, the PrimoWeigher is equipped with several timesaving functions that simplify the set-up and operation of the scale. A large, easy-to-read 15-in. color touchscreen display is operator friendly and easily seen from a distance. If an operator forgets how to enter a new recipe, a Wizard function walks the operator through the step-by-step on-screen procedure. An unlimited number of recipes can be entered in the system and are easily retrieved using flip-through images if each recipe. Recipes also include a photograph of the actual product for quick identification.

Operators can switch between different languages without losing any data or set-up parameters and additional languages can be added when needed. The handheld Primo Pocket Control gives the operator complete control of the PrimoWeigher in the palms of their hands, eliminating the need to go back and forth between the scale/control panel or the assistance of a second person.

Should an operator ever need technical assistance from CombiScale, 360 Online Support allows the company's service technicians to connect the PrimoWeigher and provide immediate support. With a digital camera connected to the PrimoWeigher, the company's technician can see what the operator sees in real-time. With the operator's authorization, CombiScale technicians can operate the scale from anywhere in the world.
