Pro-Form Labs Opens New Offices, Warehouse
BENICIA, Calif.—Pro-Form Laboratories opened its new offices and warehouse here in early December. The company relocated its operations next to its manufacturing facility, and the additional 25,000 square feet will incorporate a new R&D laboratory and house all administrative personnel. Century Foods Receives GMP for Sport Registration
SPARTA, Wis. — Century Foods International received GMP for Sport™ Registration, the first company to be in compliance with the enhanced program and its current good manufacturing practices as audited by Ann Arbor, Mich.-based NSF International. To obtain the registration, Century Foods completed and must comply with several program requirements including two annual GMP for Sport audits, and manufacturer and ingredient supplier affidavits that they do not source or inventory any component on the banned substances list. “Century Foods’ achievement of NSF registration is further testament to our commitment to food safety standards,” said Thomas J. Miskowski, president of Century Foods (www.centuryfoods.com). The company can now use the NSF GMP for Sport Program mark in its advertising and collateral materials.
Indigo Labs Relocating
VISTA, Calif.—Indigo Labs, a contract manufacturer of liquids, is moving into a larger facility in late January; the company was created in early 2006 to fill the need for liquid contract manufacturers on the West Coast. Nutritional Laboratories Certified Organic
MISSOULA, Mont.—Nutritional Laboratories International (NLI) was approved as a Certified Organic Handler for the Processing of Dietary Supplements by the State of Montana Department of Agriculture; the state uses the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s (USDA) national standards.
