Flavorchem Opens New Liquid Manufacturing Facility

DOWNERS GROVE, Ill.Flavorchem Corp. opened a new $8.5-million, 44,000-square-foot liquid production facility in Downers Grove, IL. The company will use the new plant to create and manufacture flavor and color solutions for the nutraceutical, food and beverage industries.

With this expansion, Flavorchems facilities now total 215,000 square feet. Flavorchem now has a larger, more dedicated area for its quality control (QC) and regulatory departments, as well as a better equipped training facility for its employees.

The Downers Grove campus includes Flavorchems corporate headquarters, the sales, customer service and marketing offices, technical and production facilities, and distribution and packaging centers. The company also has another production facility in San Clemente, CA.

"The new facility will enhance production and distribution efficiencies, while maintaining our high standards for quality and safety," said Kenneth Malinowski, president of Flavorchem.
