Flora Research Labs Joins UNPA

SALT LAKE CITY—The United Natural Products Alliance (UNPA), an international association of companies dedicated to providing consumers with natural health products, announced the membership of Flora Research Laboratories.

Headquartered in Grants Pass, Oregon, Flora Research Labs is an FDA/National Institutes of Health (NIH) recognized expert of current good manufacturing practice (cGMP) compliance. The company provides testing for analytical quality and performance, led by an FDA-trained director James Neal-Kababick, a leading expert in botanical and dietary ingredient identity testing and an adjunct faculty member at Bastyr University. Flora Research works with the world’s largest analytical instrument companies to develop instrumentation and solutions for compliance with cGMPs. It offers extensive contract testing services for contract clients and uses next-generation technologies for elemental, solvent residue and pesticide testing. Flora Research also features new state-of-the-art high performance thin layer chromatography (HPTLC) and microscopy equipment to expand its identity and phytoforensic testing services to solve problems ranging from product failure to routine quality control analysis.
