MTI Facility Earns GMP Registration

Metabolic Technologies Inc. (MTI) has received NSF International’s good manufacturing practices (GMP) certification for its manufacturing facility in Jiangsu, China.

AMES, Iowa—Metabolic Technologies, Inc. (MTI) has received NSF International’s good manufacturing practices (GMP) certification for its manufacturing facility in Jiangsu, China.

MTI’s Jiangsu facility, Jiangyin TSI Pharmaceuticals Co. Ltd., manufactures its HMB and BetaTOR™ ingredients. HMB, ( ß-hydroxy ß-methylbutyrate) is a naturally occurring substance in the human body that, when supplemented, has been clinically demonstrated to improve the effects of weight training, enhance indicators of endurance, and assist in recovery.

In March, MTI’s John Rathmacher spoke at the Innovation Ingredient Symposium for bone, joint and muscle health in Shanghai, China.
