CHATSWORTH, Calif. Natrol Inc. was certified compliant under the Natural Products Association (NPA) GMP (good manufacturing practice) program, which is aligned with the federal GMPs for dietary supplements. To become certified, Natrols manufacturing facilities were subject to comprehensive third-party inspections, on-site audits and documentation review. Natrol received an A compliance rating following its GMP audit, qualifying the company for certification and allowing it to use the NPA GMP certification mark on its products.

This certification gives Natrol great pride in knowing that the companys product manufacturing process meets NPA cGMP standards, which now incorporates FDAs new regulations for dietary supplements, said Jenia G. Khudagulyan, Natrols senior vice president of operations. The NPA cGMP certification also serves as added confidence for consumers and retailers who rely on Natrols reputation for quality products that are in FDA compliance.
