FORSYTH, Mo.National Enzyme Co. (NEC) upgraded its internal software to a digital tracking system that will benefit its GMP (good manufacturing practice) tracking and environmentally friendly practices. The new software allows NEC to measure its total manufacturing practices with a greater level of traceability, in part through the use of bar coding procedures, and utilizes electronic record keeping to allow the company to transition to a paperless manufacturing process.

This new software gives us an edge in GMP compliance because it efficiently gathers even the minutest manufacturing details, said Jo Ann Peterson, director of quality assurance. We anticipate this new software will carry us through our current regulatory environment as well as offer the ability to adapt to any changes which may come our way in the future.
