SPARKS, Nev.NOW Foods' Nevada manufacturing facility now has good manufacturing practice (GMP) certification through the Natural Products Associations (NPA) GMP certification program.

We built the Sparks facility to reflect the same high quality standards and capabilities as our Bloomingdale facility, which means that it will not matter to customers where the product is madethey will receive the same high quality product," said Aaron Secrist, NOW Foods quality and regulatory manager.

The facility operated as the company's western distribution facility for nearly a decade, but underwent an expansion in 2011. In January 2013, NOW Foods began manufacturing products in the new 165,000-square-foot manufacturing and distribution center. The facility includes an on-site lab with two high performance liquid chromatographs (HPLC) and two gas chromatographs (GC).
