NSF International Acquires Auditing Subsidiary

ANN ARBOR, Mich.The International Pharmaceutical Excipients Council of the Americas (IPEC-Americas) sold its IPEA auditing subsidiary to NSF International.

This transaction will allow NSF to develop new service offerings and deliver food additive and dietary supplement ingredient audits. NSF will also offer help to companies worldwide with cGMP regulations.

Founded in 2000, IPEA has provided third-party audits of the facilities and systems used to manufacture and distribute pharmaceutical excipients. NSF is a member of IPEC and IPEA integrated with the company's health sciences division. The division  offers GMP and GLP testing, certification, training, auditing and regulatory guidance.
