IRVINE, Calif.Pro-X Nutraceuticals is now GMP (good manufacturing practice) certified by the Natural Products Association (NPA). The company earned an A" compliance rating from NPA following an independent audit to ensure Pro-Xs operating procedures and manufacturing processes were compliant with NPAs standards, which are in-line with federal GMP guidelines. The private label and contract manufacturer of dietary supplements has been in process with NPA for almost a year; during that time it has invested approximately $1.5 million into facility upgrades including an in-house, state-of-the-art analytical laboratory.

We decided to seek the GMP certification through the NPA because we felt that its certification program was the most valuable in the dietary supplement manufacturing industry," said Mohammad Khalid, Ph.D., president of Pro-X. The GMP audit itself took about three full days for the inspector to investigate our testing and manufacturing procedures, batch records, specifications and the entire facility. This process was very enlightening and we knew it was an investment in our long-term future, and for the health and well-being of our clients and their consumers."
