Robinson Pharma Expands Ops, Meets NSF GMPs

SANTA ANA, Calif.Robinson Pharma is adding eight additionalsoftgel lines to its operation in March, increasing the total capacity to 18lines. According to the company, the expansion will allow it to offer improvedlead times through added capacity and use of its continuous drying process.

In addition, Robinson Pharma (www.robinsonpharma.com) received GMP (goodmanufacturing practice) registration with NSF International. The companyseffort to obtain certification demonstrates that we are serious about quality,said Gary Swanson, executive vice president of operations. These are thebeginning stages of Robinson Pharmas transition to a world class facility.The management team is developing other programs for the future, to include USPregistration, more process automation and alternative film processes.
