Sabinsa's India Facility GMP Registered

EAST WINDSOR, N.J. Sabinsa Corp. announced its manufacturing facility in Bangalore, India, is GMP (good manufacturing practice) registered through NSF Internationals Dietary Supplement Certification program. NSF conducted a plant audit to verify compliance with GMPs and will conduct periodic audits to ensure continued conformance. Approximately 90 percent of Sabinsas nutritional ingredients are produced in the 77,500-square-foot facility; an additional 15,000 square feet is devoted to lab space.

While ingredient manufacturing facilities are not required to be GMP certified, we believe such a demonstration of commitment to quality is essential for ingredients companies, said Muhammed Majeed, Ph.D., founder of Sabinsa.
