Sanmark Opens New GMP Compliant Facility

BENXI, ChinaSanmark Corp. opened a new manufacturing facility here in June, replacing its previous production plant in Dalian. The company designed the facility, located in a new research and technology zone sponsored by Liaoning Province, from the ground up for the production of specialty seed oils and concentrated fatty acids; R&D is also handled on-site in Benxi.

Sanmark also announced its new facility was successfully audited by NSF International for GMP (good manufacturing practice) compliance. The company also holds ISO, HACCP, organic and kosher certifications. David Chance, manager of marketing and sales, commented, We are unique among nutritional oil manufacturers in this respect and we are dedicated to an increased awareness in our industry of quality and accountability. We want our customers to visit our new plant for a tour to see firsthand the care we take with our product."
