OGDEN, Utah—Trace Minerals Research (TMR) announced its manufacturing facility received an “A” compliance rating from the Natural Products Association (NPA) during a GMP (good manufacturing practice) recertification audit. The recertification confirms the company conforms to NPA’s GMP standards and procedures. Matt Kilts, partner, TMR (www.TraceMinerals.com), said: “This GMP recertification underscores our ongoing commitment to maintaining the highest standards in manufacturing and quality control. Currently, our operations department is reviewing FDA’s recently announced GMP standards for dietary supplements to ensure we are compliant. We do not anticipate any changes in operations in order to comply with these new FDA regulations.”
