PHOENIXIt's been a little over a year since Dateline NBC aired a feature highlighting the dangerous practice of supplement dry labbing, where a testing lab issues safety data without actually conducting assays. Right after the segment aired, INSIDER got comment from Frank Jaksch, CEO and co-founder of ChromaDex, a respected supplement testing lab.
Jaksch was interviewed on the Dateline segment, defending the industry while acknowlegeing dry labbing is a problem.
INSIDER editor-in-chief Sandy Almendarez recently sat down with Jaksch to discuss the state of dry labbing a year past dateline, and what supplement brand owners can do to ensure their labs are on the level.
