12th International AHCC, GCP Symposium Held

SAPPORO, JapanMore than 400medical professionals from countries including the United States, China, Korea,New Zealand and Thailand attended the 12th International Symposium of the ActiveHexose Correlated Compound (AHCC) and Genistein Combined Polysaccharide (GCP)Research Associations, held here July 24 and 25.

The symposium was co-sponsored by the Foundation for BasicResearch of Oncology and Amino Up Chemical Co. Ltd., the producer of AHCC andGCP.

The annual symposium once again provided an opportunity toachieve the overall mission of the AHCC and GCP associations, as worldwideresearch was shared to educate medical professionals further on the newdevelopments and effectiveness of these innovative ingredients, said FredPescatore, M.D., medical director of the AHCC Research Association in Rye, N.Y.
