DARMSTADT, Germany—AB Enzymes, part of the ABF Ingredients Group, on Sept. 15 announced a 10 percent price increase for its range of baking, food and specialty enzyme products, effective immediately. All prior contracts and commitments are unaffected by the increase.

Eric Marks, vice president of business operations, said: “The announced price increases are necessary to cover part of the cost increases in raw materials, energy and overhead costs that have been incurred in recent months. We have reviewed our operations in detail and we see no other way than to ask our customers to share more of the value that they see coming from using our products and services.”
