DALLAS--Mosaic Nutraceuticals (www.mosaicnutracorp.com) signed an international distribution agreement with AHB Trading Ltd. S.A., giving AHB exclusive distribution rights in Mexico, Central America and South America. AHB also has an option to exercise warrants to purchase up to 3.5 million shares of Mosaic common stock for $4 million. The primary products from Mosaic are Lipotrene, a low carb candy chew containing an active ingredient that may lower cholesterol levels, and Celaprix, a topic rub for joint pain. Celaprix is a combination of boswellic acid and Celadrin, a branded ingredient of esterified fatty acid carbons (EFACs) and other active synergists, marketed worldwide by Proprietary Nutritionals Inc. (PNI).
