Albion President Lectures at BYU

PROVO, Utah—DeWayne Ashmead, Ph.D., the president and chairman of the Board of Directors for Albion, gave a Visiting Scholar Lecture at Brigham Young University (BYU) on Dec. 11, 2008. The presentation, “The Politics of Nutrition,” was sponsored by BYU’s Department of Health Science and dealt with mineral fortification of foods, the problems associated with getting such programs adopted in countries around the world, and how innovations in nutrition have impacted the health of the world’s communities.
