APPI Acquiring Interest in GNE-India

NEW YORKAdvanced Plant Pharmaceuticals Inc. (PINKSHEETS:APPI) signed a Memorandum of Understanding to acquire a majority interest in GNE-India, an algae technology company; GNE-India owns and will retain the territorial rights for distribution and sales of its proprietary technology for growing algae quickly and efficiently for food protein and energy to both India and Sri Lanka.

APPI focuses on the research and development of whole plant-based nutritionals, and markets a line of products including Lo-Chol globally; the company also does business in the renewable energy market and plans to change its corporate name to World Health Energy Holdings Inc. To facilitate the change, APPI has received a new CUSIP number and is applying to FINRA for a new ticker symbol.
