Archon Appoints New President

SOMERSET, N.J.—Archon Vitamin Corp., a leading manufacturer of vitamins, minerals, herbals and other nutritional products, appointed Christopher Rohde president, announced Phil Vigeant, a senior member of Archon’s board of directors. In his role, Rohde will be responsible for the management and day-to-day operations of the Archon manufacturing facility and its 70 employees.
Rohde joined Archon in July 2007 as its director of operations. In his first months with the company, Rohde made dramatic improvements in operational efficiencies and directed comprehensive upgrades in the company’s facilities. Under his direction, both Archon’s overall sales and customer based have increased.
“Chris is making substantial contributions to Archon and has been a tremendous asset since day one,” said Vigeant. “He has demonstrated overall leadership and the vision to build the foundation we need to drive Archon’s growth. We are extremely pleased to have him at the helm and know that, under his direction, the company will achieve new levels of success.”
Rohde began his career in the natural products industry in 1990 at Triarco Industries, an ingredient supplier, where he was vice president of operations. After Triarco, he was a principal in Natural Marketing Concepts, a natural products industry marketing company. Rohde holds a bachelor of science in criminal justice from Marist College, in Poughkeepsie, N.Y.
