TORONTO--Ashbury Biologicals Inc., a Canadian developer ofherbal products and nutritional supplements, announced a strategic partnershipwith SSP Co. Ltd. in Tokyo. SSP is the third-largest marketer ofover-the-counter (OTC) pharmaceuticals in Japan. According to Peter Pekos,president of Ashbury (www.ashburybio.com),the alliance will fortify Ashbury's position in the North American market anddraw on SSP's established product introduction experience.
