Ashland Distribution Expands FIDdirect Services

DUBLIN, Ohio--Ashland Distribution Co.'s Fine Ingredients Division (FID) has expanded geographic coverage of its FIDdirect services inside sales group to include customers in Canada, Mexico and Central and South America. FIDdirect services connects to Ashland's ERP systems containing customer purchase history, product availability information, and plant production and shipping schedules.

"We are continually looking for new, easier ways for our customers to do business in the most efficient manner for them," said Jerry Snyder, vice president and general manager of Ashland's Fine Ingredients Division.
