Bio-One Acquires Specialty Nutrition Company

ORLANDO, Fla.Bio-One Corp. (OTCBB: BICO) acquired 100 percent ofInteractive Nutrition International, a manufacturer and distributor of brandedspecialty nutritional supplements. Based in Ottawa, Canada, InteractiveNutrition International distributes a comprehensive line of supplements forathletes and general consumers. The purchase price was US$23.4 million, withUS$11.4 million paid at closing; the balance is payable over five years.

Interactive Nutrition International, which had $12 million in revenues in2003, has marketed products in Canada, Hong Kong and the United States.Currently, 90 percent of the companys revenues are generated in Canada, withits remaining revenue generated in the United States and China.

Armand Dauplaise, president of Bio-One, said, Interactive NutritionInternational has built a strong business based on quality products. We believethat synergy with other companies that we have acquired and are in the processof acquiring will greatly help facilitate their growth.
