NEWPORT BEACH, Calif.Results of aclinical study presented at Experimental Biology 2004 indicate BioCell CollagenII® is safe and effective in relieving pain and stiffness from osteoarthritis(OA). In the twomonth intervention study, 16 subjects with OA of the knee orhand received 1,000 mg/d of BioCell Collagen II or a placebo. The treatmentgroup reported a significant decrease in joint pain and stiffness and an overallimprovement in quality of life. Adverse events were not significant and did notdiffer between the groups.
