Bunge Names Vice Presidents

ST. LOUISBunge North America, the North American operating arm of Bunge Limited (NYSE:BG) announced it has promoted three people to the newly created positions of executive vice president, Bunge North America. Tim Gallagher, Larry Clarke and Fred Luckey were named to these positions, which will focus on aligning Bunge North America's businesses throughout the value chain.

"Bunge North America has experienced considerable growth over the past few years, and our structure no longer fits our current business or our future expansion plans," said Carl Hausmann, president and CEO, Bunge North America. "Tim, Larry and Fred will be responsible for ensuring integration of the value chain as well as identifying and pursuing additional growth opportunities."

Tim Gallagher, senior vice president and general manager, Bunge Grain, becomes executive vice president overseeing grain operations and Bunge's expanding biofuels activities.

Larry Clarke, senior vice president and general manager, Bunge Oilseed Processing, becomes executive vice president responsible for oilseed processing, oils and transportation.

Fred Luckey, senior vice president and general manager, Bunge Milling, becomes executive vice president overseeing milling operations, procurement and a newly created industrial management organization that combines all engineering and operations support functions into one department. This group will also include Bunge's productivity, quality, safety and environment (PQSE) activities.

"With our expanding participation in biofuels and other growth opportunities, this is an exciting time for Bunge North America," said Hausmann. "Our new structure will encourage the teamwork and the flexibility we need to expand our business."
