Collagen Nutraceuticals Seeking Patent for New Ingredient

LAKE FOREST, Calif.Collagen Nutraceuticals Inc. (www.Kolla2.com) filed for patent protection for the manufacturing method and use of its new ingredient, branded as Reversitall, an extract from a blend of red wine, Muscadine grapes, grape cluster stems and grape vine. The ingredient naturally contains significant levels of polyphenol stilbenes, including trans-resveratrol and oligomeric proanthocyanidins. Reversitall is manufactured under a patent pending process, without exposure to high heat, chemicals or UV light, to reduce oxidation and retain nutrient integrity.
