Covances Crowley Passes Away

PRINCETON, N.J.—Richard “Rick” Crowley, a senior science writer at Covance Inc., passed away Aug. 22, 2008 after a short battle with cancer. Crowley spent the majority of his career as a scientific writer and editor. He wrote and published the Food Science Newsletter and the Evolutions newsletter, was a contributing editor for numerous scientific publications for the food, dietary supplement and pharmaceutical industries, and wrote and edited several book chapters in collaboration with members of the Covance scientific staff.
