NEW CENTURY, Kan.Danisco opened its new North AmericanHeadquarters and Innovation facility here. The 240,000-sq.-ft. facility includesoffices for 150 employees including management, sales and marketing, customercare, administration, innovation, logistics, finance, regulatory, humanresources, information systems and customer service. The new site also includesa culinary kitchen as well as innovation labs for fats and oils, food protectionand analytical testing, fruit preparation and confectionary, culinary and meat,bakery, dairy and beverage and all with a full-scale pilot plant facility.
