David Michael de Mexico Announces New Facility in Lerma, Recipient of the 2006 Whitehill Award

LERMA, ESTADO de MEXICOThe Board of Directors of David Michael & Co. is proud to announce the opening of our new David Michael de Mexico SA de CV facility in Lerma, Estado de Mexico.

The new location spans 6,000 square meters (approx. 19,685 feet), and houses numerous laboratories, including applications, culinary, sensory, quality control, flavor creation and microbiology. The world-class production facility includes the capability of manufacturing liquid and powder blends, emulsions, washed oils, beverage concentrates, among other flavor related products.

The Lerma facility will enable David Michael to better serve their global, Mexican and Latin American clients and work more efficiently towards the completion of various projects. In addition, it will allow for increased efficiencies in manufacturing, freight and warehousing.

Plans were originally laid for the new site in Nov. 2005, and construction was underway within a few short months. The all-new David Michael de México was inaugurated on Feb. 21, 2007.

The Board of Directors of David Michael & Co. is also pleased to announce that the winner of the 2006 Whitehill Cup Award is David Michael de Mexico SA DE CV, for obtaining the highest percentage growth increase last year.

The entire team at David Michael de Mexico is congratulated on their outstanding performance. The growth is a result of intensive hard work and is the outcome of global teamwork. This is the second year in a row that David Michael de Mexico has won the Whitehill award.

The Whitehill Cup award was established by the David Michael Board of Directors to honor the international subsidiary that attained the highest growth rate in a fiscal year. The award was named in honor of the late General Edward Whitehill Rosenbaum, David Michael's past chairman, and his vision of a global David Michael & Co.
