Cambria, Wisconsin, Oct. 6, 2016–After all proceeds from sponsorships, raffle items, mulligan sales, and other contributions were tallied, Didion’s 10th Annual Golf Outing raised $31,734 for Cambria’s Old Mill Foundation. The event was held at Tuscumbia Country Club in Green Lake, Wisconsin. Major sponsors included Novozymes, Rockwell Automation, and Werner Electric Supply.
“This golf outing represents just one of many ways Didion gives back to the community,” said Dale Drachenberg, VP of risk management at Didion Milling. “And our Old Mill Foundation is a tremendous steward for the donation. Their past Foundation grants have provided a wealth of local support—from school projects and youth activities to fire department rescue equipment.”
The Old Mill Foundation was founded in 2006 under the guidance of Didion Milling. It works to enhance the lives of residents near the Village of Cambria, Township of Courtland, and Cambria Friesland School District. Over the past ten years, Didion has helped raise more than $200,000. Foundation grants have addressed specific areas such as: learning & education, community enhancement, environment & recreation, community centers, youth activities, school projects & scholarships, parks & playgrounds, conservation, and fire department rescue needs.
