DKSH Acquires Chemicals Distributor

ZURICHDKSH, a Swiss market expansion service provider, acquired specialty chemicals distributor Staerkle & Nagler. The acquisition will help DKSH in the market expansion industry, as it is currently executing  strategic expansion in Asia and Western Europe.

Staerkle & Nagler, founded in 1946, will now be integrated into DKSH's Business Unit Performance Materials. The chemicals distributed generated net sales of CHF 20.2 million in 2011. The acquisition will provide DKSH an advanced product portfolio while offering a network of suppliers.

In October, DKSH added to its regulatory affairs department to provide enhanced market expansion services. The addition included Dr. Robert Koller as global head of regulatory affairs.
