ZURICH, SwitzerlandDKSH, a distributor of food ingredients, announced two new marketing and distribution agreements in Asia. DKSH will market Unifines Fruibel Belgian couverture chocolate to Japanese confectionery producers and cake boutiques.

DKSH has been doing business with Unifine for over 30 years and the agency covers over 40 products, such as mousse confectionery ingredients, concentrated fruit pastes and flavorings. DKSH and Unifine plan to collaborate in Thailand in the near future.

Earlier this month, DKSH announced it had taken over the distributorship of the Hersheys range of chocolates in Singapore, after Hershey acquired Van Houten in 2010. DKSH has been providing marketing, sales, distribution, and logistics services for Van Houten for the past 10 years, and Hershey decided to put both the Hershey and Van Houten business under one roof. DKSH was selected to be the sole distributor for both Hershey and Van Houten due to DKSHs track record in handling the Van Houten business.
