DMV, Fortitech Sign Distribution Agreements; Fortitech Moves Danish Operations
VEGHEL, Netherlands; GADSTRUP, Denmark; & MILTONKEYNES,EnglandDMV International(www.dmv-international.com) and Fortitech (www.fortitech.com) signed distributionagreements with Fiske GB for the British market. Fiske is the specialty food ingredient brand of Univar N.V.
Fiske GB will provide full technical support for the DMV andFortitech ranges of food and nutrition products, including a new technicalservices department and food ingredients helpline.The companys foodtechnologists will provide advice on ingredient-related concept development andspecific projects for customers.
In media releases, DMV and Fortitech said they selected Fiskeafter a rigorous selection process to improve customer service.
In addition to signing the new distribution agreement,Fortitech has begun transferring its production facility in Niløse, Denmark, toits new facility in Gadstrup, Denmark.The new facility will be dedicatedexclusively to nutrient premix manufacturing, contain a high-tech laboratory fordeveloping and testing premixes, and provide customers with batch sizeflexibility, quicker turnaround times and increased technical support. The moveis expected to be complete by the end of February.
