DNP, Unichem in Court

BRAMPTON, Ontario—Whittier, Calif.-based DNP International filed suit here in late October against Richmond, British Columbia-based Unichem Enterprises and its officers. In early November, the Superior Court of Justice here issued an endorsement restricting the companies from soliciting business from each other or making use of any of the other company’s trade information or customer lists. The companies are due back in court on Jan. 22 to review DNP’s request for an interlocutory injunction and Unichem’s motion on jurisdictional issues.
