WASHINGTON--The Dietary Supplement Education Alliance (DSEA) and Intramedicine announced a strategic alliance to make additional news and scientific information about dietary supplements available to consumers and the industry.

Information from Intramedicine's database is already available on the DSEA Web site (www.supplementinfo.org). In addition, industry members can now provide a link from their own Web sites to the DSEA site. "Intramedicine has shown its belief and support of our educational mission by providing access to the most comprehensive online information source available today," said Elliott Balbert, acting chairman of DSEA. "We are proud to be the recipient of this preeminent resources and to be able to share it with the countless consumers and media who seek information about the benefits and responsible usage of nutritional and dietary supplements."

In addition to licensing its database to DSEA and allowing industry members to link to the DSEA Web site, Intramedicine has pledged up to an additional $250,000 to DSEA, based on a share of services purchased by industry members. For more information on the Web site link opportunities or other services, contact Deb Knowles with DSEA at [email protected].
