HELSINKI, Finland ─ Eating chocolate during pregnancy may make for happier and livelier babies, a new study at the University of Helsinki in Finland revealed.Study results revealed babies born to women who ate chocolate daily during pregnancy were more active and positively reactive (smiled and laughed more). Further, the babies of stressed women who ate chocolate showed less fear of new situations than babies of stressed women who didn’t consume chocolate. Researchers say these findings suggest that the chemicals in chocolate associated with positive mood may be passed from mother to baby in the womb.Chocolate for a happy babySource: Westender
