GREEN BAY, Wis.--EuroPharma secured the North American rights toKinospherine®, a complex of ingredients shown to prevent the absorption ofdietary fats, from Oligocaps Laboratoire, located in France. According to thecompany, Kinospherine blocks 21 g/d of fat and prevents lipase action byblocking the fatty acids. EuroPharma is in discussion with several companies tolicense the ingredient for sale to the nutraceutical industry.
