NEW YORK--Norman Goldfind, former owner and presidentof Keats Publishing, teamed with Basic Media Group Inc. to form Basic Health Publications. The new company plans tolaunch its first book list in Spring 2002, and to publish 25 books the first year. Basic Health Publications will publish books in thecategories of alternative therapies, disease state management, nutrition/diet, dietary supplements and fitness. It plans to publish primarily in trade paperback format, with one mass-market series also planned.
