PHOENIXVIRGO announced two new website launches, FoodTech Toolbox and Boardroom Journal, both extensions of the Food Product Design brand.

The FoodTech Toolbox is an always-open library of technical food and beverage product development tools including formulations, instructive presentations on everything from ingredients to nutrition, and reports on hot industry topics. FoodTech Toolbox includes free videos, slides, infographics, reports and sample formulations ready to be downloaded and used by food scientists. Premium content is available for download with free site registration.

"Building on the strengths of Food Product Design, weve designed FoodTech Toolbox to help food scientists navigate the complexities of product development in todays fast-changing environment," said Lynn Kuntz, executive editor of Food Product Design, part of VIRGO's SupplySide Health & Nutrition Network. "The Toolbox provides actionable intelligence to ensure product success by supplying essential information in an easy-to-use format."

Readers of Food Product Design print magazine and digital issues can look for the FoodTech Toolbox icon next to graphics, charts and tables and go to the FoodTech Toolbox site to download the resources for their own use. Food scientists can search the FoodTech Toolbox's technical tools by subject, including specific applications, ingredients, market trends, and other beverage and food development topics.

The Boardroom Journal is a destination for the Food Product Design executive audience, designed to explore big-picture macro themes affecting the food and beverage industry. The Boardroom Journal is aimed at corporate management professionals; the Digital Issue content is leveraged via slide shows, videos, infographics and more. Premium content is available for download with free site registration.

"More than ever, leaders at food and beverage companies need a thorough grasp of the macro issues impacting their industries in order to make the best decisions for their businesses," said Jon Benninger, vice president of VIRGO'S SupplySide Health & Nutrition Network. "The Boardroom Journal is focused on serving this executive-level segment of Food Product Design's growing global audience."
