CLEVELANDGaneden Biotech® announced that its probiotic, GanedenBC30, is the first probiotic that will be developed for instant coffee. Ganeden sees the coffee market as a way to increase margins and sell-through of its probiotic ingredients.  Ganeden is currently working with multiple manufacturers and will be announcing partnerships in the coming weeks that will have product on store shelves this year.

Ganeden already has partnerships with tea manufacturers such as The Republic of Tea, Bigelow Tea Company, Red Mango FrozenYogurt, GT Kombucha, Kevita and Tipton Mills. Each company has had successful product tea launches with the addition of Ganeden BC30.

Last year, Ganeden sold the supplement rights to GanedenBC30 to Schiff Nutrition for use of its probiotic technology in over-the-counter and dietary supplement markets.
