Gum Base Develops Functional Gum with Indena Extracts

MILAN, Italy—Gum Base Co. will debut an innovative chewing gum featuring botanical extracts from Indena during SupplySide West in Las Vegas Oct. 22 to 24. The Compressed Powder Gum (CPG) technology uses a cold, dry process to make fortified gum tablets without impacting the active compounds. According to the companies, the product was developed to target the U.S. supplements market.
